East Cobb
East Cobb is a vibrant community located in Cobb County, just north of Atlanta. East Cobb is a growing community of over 200,000 residents. Residents of East Cobb typically have a Marietta address, but are not located within the city limits of the City of Marietta. The East Cobb area is bordered by Cherokee County to the north, interstates I-575 and I-75 and the City of Marietta to the west and southwest, the Chattahoochee River to the southeast, and Fulton County to the east. If East Cobb were a city, it would be larger than any other city in the metro area except for the city of Atlanta which has about a half million residents. Though there have been several failed efforts over the years to create a City of East Cobb, East Cobb remains an unincorporated area that is administered by the Cobb County Government.
